South Carolina Chapter
The South Carolina Chapter of American Association of Blacks in Energy (“SCCAABE”) is a 501 (c) (3) organization celebrating 41 years of service to current and future minority professionals in the energy sector.
Our mission: to provide energy professionals through programs and activities in five strategic areas: energy policy, professional development, community outreach, membership, and scholarships.
SCCAABE is headquartered in Cayce, South Carolina, and includes members from BHE GT&S, Dominion Energy, Duke Energy, KCI Energy, Santee Cooper, and Westinghouse.
SCCAABE welcomes professionals from all energy-related organizations to join our chapter. We are seeking members who will help us achieve our mission to ensure the input of minorities in the development of energy policy and regulations, research and development technology, and environmental issues, and strive to raise money for AABE Scholars. Please contact us for more information on how to get involved.
