New Jersey Chapter
The AABE New Jersey Chapter, founded in 1997, is a 501(c)(3) organization focused on the awareness of energy-related issues within our communities and providing financial assistance in the form of scholarships to graduating minority high school seniors from underrepresented communities accepted at accredited institutions for careers in energy-related fields.
The Strategic Plan Goals of the Chapter Include:
- Create a diverse executive team
- Increase & diversify membership
- Establish overall development and succession planning for each board member
- Provide new and innovative programming for a more virtual focused environment
- Increase regional and state programming and relationships
- Create greater connections between the State, EBRGs and the PSEG Enterprise Resource Group
- Establish communication forums to better engage membership
- Provide scholarships to graduating minority high school students
