Oklahoma Chapter
The Oklahoma Chapter of American Association of Blacks in Energy (AABE) is a 501c3 non-profit organization that was formed in the early 1990’s and was re-instated in 2023.
Mission Statement: To elevate energy awareness and advocacy in the Black and underrepresented communities, foster the development of members, and inspire the next generation of energy leaders.
Goals/Vision:
- Increase awareness of energy-related topics within the community
- Provide opportunities for youth to pursue energy related careers through education, scholarship awards, and professional development programs
- Offer professional development opportunities to members
